Action Research - Learning Geometry with Logo
It has been a really long time since I have posted on this blog but I need to make notes about a project I am working on. I want conduct a small action research study on the use of the Logo programming language to teach geometry. My Logo-Math Wiki contains a series of new or revised Lessons that I will pilot with my undergraduate students starting on September 18.
The most pressing task is to decide exactly what I want to learn, how I can gather relevant data, and how I will analyze the data. Since I teach an action research methods course, my goal is to use my experience as a real-time example of how action research works. The study will begin in 10 days, stay tuned for daily updates.
